The Schwarz Etienne Roswell 08 is a truly unique-looking watch that merges vibrant aesthetics with a high-tech manufacture movement and a special dial layout. Proudly displayed to the left of the dial is Schwarz Etienne’s innovative date mechanism where the date operates through a drive system that is equipped with a quick date setting feature as well as a safety mechanism.
The brown tobacco dial has been largely open-worked to reveal the ISE-100.11 manufacture caliber that features micro-rotor automatic winding and an impressive 4 days of power reserve. Wrapped into a round, yet characterful 45 millimeter-wide stainless steel case matched to a brown structured leather strap, the Schwarz Etienne Roswell 08 is one refreshing-looking and yet highly technical watch.
The watch has a mechanical automatic ISE-100.11 manufacture in-house movement with an “irreversible” caliber with micro-rotor and 4 days of power reserve. The watch functions include, hours, minutes, small seconds and date.
The watch case is made of stainless steel and its diameter is 45 mm. A sapphire crystal covers the watch case and the watch is water-resistant to 50 meters. The dial of the watch is open-worked and with a brown tobacco-colored dial with SuperLuminova on hands and indices and a small seconds hand at 11 o’clock and date at 2 o’clock. The watch is fitted with a structured tobacco brown leather strap with bright orange or pistachio green lining and logo-engraved folding buckle.
For over one hundred years, the watch manufacturer Schwarz Etienne has endeavoured to transform its century-old tradition into a watchmaking art which is constantly evolving. From the beginning of the 20th century to this day, its motto has never failed; Schwarz Etienne has been in movement since 1902, following an extraordinary, uninterrupted industrial trajectory.
In 2007, Schwarz Etienne became a manufacture by manufacturing his own automatic and hand winding mechanical movements. Most of the components are also manufactured in house, to say that the Schwarz Etienne has become autonomous and wants to be able to ensure that the work completed in its production.
Schwarz Etienne’s values have remained unchanged since the company’s creation in 1902: quality, authenticity and respect for watchmaking traditions. The intrinsic values of the craftsmanship which forged the reputation of the family business, to this day remain the keywords of its prosperous successors.
